The Avengers had a succesful first game they too, defeating last night the Newark Patrons, 122-102 behind tyree harris, who scored 24 pts, ryan hughes, who added 19 pts, and Daryl owens, who completed an impressive performance at 10 pts, 9 rebs, 7 assist. Korea -Japan 68:58 Korea triumphed in the East Asian Championship winning the Final game over Japan 68:58. It was a great game from both teams as they finished the opening quarter with 19:19. Korea grabbed 38:37 at the half and could increase the lead later in the third. After 15-12 in the third frame the winners took 53:49 lead.
