Shenzhen Leopards (CBA) inked experienced 34-year old American ex-international shooting guard Keith Langford (193-91kg-83, college: Kansas). He was about to sign at Unics in Russian VTB league. Langford has played there for the last four years. In 28 Euroleague games he averaged impressive 21.8ppg, 3.4rpg and 3.7apg last season. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Euroleague All-Imports Team and Honorable Mention. Langford also played 25 games in VTB United League where he was fourth best scorer with remarkable 18.6ppg and recorded 2.7rpg, 3.3apg and 1.0spg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to VTB United League All-Star Game.
In 2005 Langford was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (CBA) in fifth round (39th overall).
He attended University of Kansas and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Langford played in the final of VTB United League in 2016. He received also Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Import Player of the Year award in 2016.
Langford represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Toronto (Canada) two years ago.
He is a very experienced player. Langford has played also professionally in Israel (Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv), Italy (Armani Milano, Angelico Biella, Vanoli Cremona and Virtus Bologna), USBL (Kansas C.), NBA G League (Austin Spurs) and D-League (Ft.Worth F.).
His game is described as: A smooth, left-handed wing player who should contribute at the shooting guard and small forward slots. Possesses good range on his outside jumper... Also has the ability to take his man off the dribble and go strong to the rim... Can put up big numbers in the scoring column... Shows impressive ability to drive and hit pull-up jumpers from medium range... A solid perimeter defender.
