Shenzhen rallied past Shanghai to even the series at 2-2. Sharks trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 24-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 93-100 at the end of the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Sharks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward QuAn Gu (202-92) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Four Leopards players scored in double figures. American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) replied with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Yi Zhai (200-94) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sharks. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Liaoning FL - Guangsha L. 112-106

Guangsha upset Liaoning on the road to seal their semifinal appearance. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 32-25 charge of Flying Leopards, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who scored that evening 26 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and the former international center Dejun Han (215-89) supported him with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Even 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 7 assists by American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: Three Eye Sports) did not help to save the game for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. International center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) added 24 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Five Flying Leopards and four Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Xinjiang topped Shandong and advanced into the next round of playoffs. Golden Stars were ahead by 15 points at the halftime before a 63-42 second half run of Xinjiang Flying Tige. They made 29-of-37 charity shots (78.4 percent) during the game. Golden Stars were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport) who added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side American point guard A.J. Price (188-86, college: Connecticut) responded with 29 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and his fellow American import forward Jason Thompson (211-86, college: Rider) scored 8 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Chiba Jets - Zhejiang 83:73 Chiba Jets won the international Super 8 preseason tournament. They beat Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in the Final in Macau tonight.
