Guangsha outgunned Liaoning to even the series at 1-1. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 37-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions forced 21 Liaoning Hunters turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Liaoning Hunters' players. 30 personal fouls committed by Liaoning Hunters helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds, 18 assists and 4 steals. Taiwanese forward Cheng Liu (192-90) contributed with 32 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) replied with 44 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and his fellow American import forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Liaoning Hunters. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Guangdong fired past Sichuan to gain 2-0 lead in the series. The game without a history. Guandong Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Sichuan BW's 50. They outrebounded Sichuan BW 44-25 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guandong Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international forward Peng Zhou (210-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points. American guard Donald Sloan (190-88, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 25 points and 6 assists for the winners. American Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice, agency: Stealth Sport) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Wei Liu (190-80) added 20 points and 8 assists in the effort for Sichuan BW. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Shanghai Sharks made 8 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Leopards helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. French Guerschon Yabusele (201-95) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) replied with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and international center Muhao Li (218-92) added 22 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Leopards. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 31-of-37 free shots (83.8 percent) during the game.
