There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in CBA.

The most shocking disappointment of round 37 was only three-point a home defeat of 3rd placed Liaoning Hunters (28-9) to fifth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (29-8) 98-95. It ended the two-game winning streak of Liaoning Hunters. 24 personal fouls committed by Liaoning Hunters helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: Three Eye Sports) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds, 14 assists and 4 steals for the winners and international center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' coach ChunJiang Li used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangdong ST. Liaoning Hunters at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions is looking forward to face league's second-placed Shanghai Sharks at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Liaoning Hunters will play against Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank and are hoping to win this game.

Qingdao Eagles will play on the road against Shandong Bulls in Jinan and hope to get back on the winning track.
CBA top team - Xinjiang Flying Tige (31-6) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Shandong Bulls (21-16) in Urumqi 118-85. Andray Blatche fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. HanLin Tao produced 19 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Xinjiang Flying Tige have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 31-6 record. Loser Shandong Bulls keep the eighth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Beijing D.. Xinjiang Flying Tige will meet at home TianJin Steel (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shandong Bulls will play against Qingdao Eagles and hope to secure a win.
Thirteenth ranked Shanxi Zhongyu (15-22) crushed at home 19th ranked Guangzhou (8-29) by 35 points 124-89, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Guangzhou. Worth to mention a great performance of Jamaal Franklin who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 16 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanxi Zhongyu maintains thirteenth place with 15-22 record. Guangzhou at the other side dropped to the eighteenth position with 29 games lost. Shanxi Zhongyu's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Bayi Rockets (#20) in Ningbo and are hoping to win another game. Guangzhou will play on the road against Guandong Tigers having rather not much hope for a victory.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 37: Beijing D. won against Fujian QB on the opponent's court 110-98. Shanghai S. managed to outperform North Control B. in a home game 104-87. TianJin S. recorded a loss to Sichuan BW on the road 117-109. Jilin NE T. crushed Zhejiang CB on its own court 122-98. Jiangsu TX was beaten by Shenzhen L. in a road game 128-112. Guangdong ST won against Jiangsu D. at home 110-96.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists by Xiaochuan Zhai of Beijing D..

Bayi R. - Qingdao E. 104-100

Very expected game in Jinjiang where 15th ranked Fujian (11-26) was defeated by ninth ranked Beijing Ducks (21-16) 110-98. Beijing Ducks dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Fujian's 50. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Xiaochuan Zhai (205-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). International guard Shuo Fang (188-90) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Beijing Ducks' coach LuLei Min allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Donald Sloan (190-88, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Jianlian Yi (212-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Guandong Tigers. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangsha L. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side keep the tenth position with 18 games lost. Guandong Tigers' next round opponent will be Guangzhou (#19) at home which should be an easy win for them. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Leopards (#6) in Shenzhen and hope to win that game.

Shanxi Zhongyu's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Bayi Rockets (#20) in Ningbo and are hoping to win another game.
