The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

CBA top team - Shanghai Sharks (27-6) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat nineteenth ranked Bayi Rockets (6-27) 98-91. 27 personal fouls committed by Bayi Rockets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. French Guerschon Yabusele (201-95) stepped up and scored 30 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard XiaoYu Liu (191-89) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was international forward Yuchen Zou (203-96) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanghai Sharks maintains first place with 27-6 record, which they share with Xinjiang FT. Bayi Rockets at the other side keep the nineteenth position with 27 games lost. Shanghai Sharks is looking forward to face Shandong Bulls (#7) in Jinan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bayi Rockets will play on the road against Fujian (#15) in Jinjiang and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
An interesting game took place in Jinjiang where higher ranked Qingdao Eagles (15-18) were upset on the court of sixteenth ranked Fujian (10-23) 123-117. American point guard Dwight Buycks (191-89, college: Marquette) nailed a double-double by scoring 49 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and Zhelin Wang accounted for 27 points and 20 rebounds. American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) came up with a triple-double by scoring 46 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 11 assists for Qingdao Eagles in the defeat. Qingdao Eagles' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fujian moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Zhejiang CB. Qingdao Eagles at the other side keep the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Fujian will play against Bayi Rockets (#19) in Ningbo in the next round. Qingdao Eagles will play at home against Sichuan BW (#9) and hope to get back on the winning track.
9th ranked Sichuan BW (18-15) was outscored at home by second ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (27-6) with the biggest margin this round 108-86 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sichuan BW. The best player for the winners was Andray Blatche who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Hamed Haddadi who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 19 rebounds. Sichuan BW's coach XueZeng Yang gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Xinjiang Flying Tige have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Shanghai S. Defending champion Sichuan BW dropped to the eighth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Beijing D.. Xinjiang Flying Tige will meet at home Shanxi Zhongyu (#13) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Sichuan BW will play against Qingdao Eagles (#12) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 33: Beijing D. lost to Shenzhen L. on the opponent's court 85-92. Guangsha L. outscored Guangzhou in a home game 119-100. Shandong FB recorded a loss to Liaoning H. on the road 101-93. Jilin NE T. was defeated by TianJin S. on its own court 126-131. Zhejiang CB was beaten by Jiangsu D. in Nanjing 121-116. Guangdong ST won against North Control B. at home 114-104. Jiangsu TX unfortunately lost to Shanxi Zh. on the opponent's court 114-127.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 25 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists by Courtney Fortson of Guangsha L..

Shenzhen L. - Beijing D. 92-85

Rather expected game in Shenzhen where 8th ranked Beijing Ducks (18-15) were defeated by sixth ranked Leopards (22-12) 92-85 on Wednesday. Leopards outrebounded Beijing Ducks 50-38 including a 39-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds. Four Leopards players scored in double figures. Leopards' coach Qun Li used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Grant Jerrett (208-93, college: Arizona) who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds and the former international forward Xiaochuan Zhai (205-93) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Leopards maintains sixth place with 22-12 record. Loser Beijing Ducks keep the eighth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Sichuan BW.
