Tiny Gallon
Limoges CSP Elite (ProA) signed 26-year old American forward Tiny Gallon (206-132kg-91, college: Oklahoma, agency: Three Eye Sports). He played last summer at Hebei Xianglan in Chinese NBL league, but left the team in July. In 15 games he had very impressive stats: 25.9ppg, 10.9rpg, 3.3apg and 1.1spg.
In 2010 Gallon was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (47th overall). He attended University of Oklahoma and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Gallon's team made it to the NBL Semifinals in 2015. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese NBL Center of the Year in 2015.
Gallon is quite experienced player. He has played in four different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Gallon has played previously professionally in Puerto Rico (Atleticos), NBA (Phi.76ers), China (Heilongjiang and Henan) and D-League (Northern Arizona Suns and Delaware 87ers).
He could be described: (by Borko Popic for NBADraft.net in 2010)
Incorporates an effective drop step, covering a lot of ground and physically dislodging his defender out of position … … Comfortable making counter moves in the post; he has good footwork and is able to turn and make secondary moves without losing his balance … Has the ability to turn to both shoulders and can finish with either hand around the basket.
His main strength is also a weakness, as his size and weight are major limiting factors … He is not a great athlete and does not get off the ground well
