The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

CBA top team - Shanghai Sharks (26-6) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat twelfth ranked Qingdao Eagles (15-17) 115-109. Shanghai Sharks made 32-of-39 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Shanghai Sharks made 8 blocks. 29 personal fouls committed by Qingdao Eagles helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!). French Guerschon Yabusele (201-95) contributed with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for Qingdao Eagles. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanghai Sharks maintains first position with 26-6 record, which they share with Xinjiang FT. Qingdao Eagles at the other side keep the twelfth place with 17 games lost. Shanghai Sharks is looking forward to face Bayi Rockets (#19) in Ningbo in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Qingdao Eagles will play on the road against Fujian (#16) in Jinjiang and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Seventeenth-ranked North Control (8-24) was very close to win a game against twelfth ranked Qingdao Eagles (15-17). Qingdao Eagles managed to secure only two-point victory 96-94. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Loukas Mavrokefalidis who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Qingdao Eagles maintains twelfth position with 15-17 record. North Control at the other side keeps the seventeenth place with 24 games lost. They share the position with Jiangsu TX. Qingdao Eagles will play against Fujian (#16) in Jinjiang in the next round. North Control will play on the road against Guandong Tigers in Dongguan and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Jiangsu between Jiangsu TX and Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Eighteenth ranked Jiangsu TX (8-24) got a very close home victory over 15th ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (10-22). Jiangsu TX managed to escape with a 2-point win 114-112 on Sunday evening. The winners were led by Jared Cunningham who scored that evening 42 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Even 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Lorenzo Brown did not help to save the game for Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jiangsu TX moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with North Control B. Loser Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank keeps the fifteenth position with 22 games lost. Jiangsu TX will meet higher ranked Shanxi Zhongyu (#13) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will play against Jiangsu Dragons in Nanjing and hope to secure a win.
Tenth-ranked Jiangsu Dragons (16-16) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (25-7) in Nanjing. The visitors from Hangzhou managed to secure only three-point victory 110-107. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was Courtney Fortson who scored 44 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Liaoning H. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side keep the tenth position with 16 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Guangzhou (#20) at home which should be an easy win for them. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#15) and hope to win that game.
Fourteenth-ranked Jilin Tigers (12-20) used its home court advantage to challenge seventh ranked Shandong Bulls (20-12) in Changchun on Sunday. The visitors from Jinan managed to secure only three-point victory 98-95. However their fans expected much easier game. Justin Dentmon orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Jilin Tigers' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shandong Bulls have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 20-12 record. Jilin Tigers lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 20 games lost. Shandong Bulls will face higher ranked Liaoning Hunters (#3) in Yingkou in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jilin Tigers will play at home against TianJin Steel (#11) and hope to win that game.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 32: Shenzhen L. beat TianJin S. on the road 117-111. Xinjiang FT destroyed Fujian QB on its own court 138-115. Beijing D. unfortunately lost to Guangdong ST in Dongguan 98-103. North Control B. managed to beat Guangzhou at home 109-100. Liaoning H. crushed Bayi R. on the opponent's court 96-77. Shanxi Zh. lost to defending champion Sichuan BW in a home game 101-111.

TianJin S. - Shenzhen L. 111-117

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Leopards (21-12) beat 11th ranked TianJin Steel (16-17) in Tianjin 117-111 on Sunday. Leopards forced 19 TianJin Steel turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 17 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international forward QuAn Gu (202-92) contributed with 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Leopards' coach Qun Li used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 assists and Palestinian center Sani Sakakini (204-88) added 27 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for TianJin Steel. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leopards maintains sixth position with 21-12 record. Loser TianJin Steel keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost. There was no surprise when 13th ranked Shanxi Zhongyu (13-19) lost to ninth ranked Sichuan BW (18-14) in Taiyuan 101-111 on Sunday. Sichuan BW shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Shanxi Zhongyu was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international point guard Wei Liu (190-80) contributed with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Sichuan BW players scored in double figures. American Jamaal Franklin (196-91, college: San Diego St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists and Haitian-Canadian center Samuel Dalembert (211-81, college: Seton Hall) added 21 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Shanxi Zhongyu. American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds and Uruguayan-Spanish power forward Esteban Batista (208-83, agency: Duran International) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Qingdao Eagles and four North Control players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Qingdao Eagles maintains twelfth position with 15-17 record. North Control at the other side keeps the seventeenth place with 24 games lost. They share the position with Jiangsu TX. Qingdao Eagles will play against Fujian (#16) in Jinjiang in the next round. North Control will play on the road against Guandong Tigers in Dongguan and hopes to get back on the winning track.
