Andray Blatche (211-F/C-86) of Xinjiang FT has been chosen by asia-basket.com as the Asian MVP for January. American big man played 8 games last month averaging double-double of 22.5ppg and 10.9rpg. He also added 3.1apg and 2.1bpg and had 58.6% 2FGP. His best game was on Jan.24 when he averaged monster double-double of 20 points and 20 rebounds. Xinjiang FT won 7 games and remains on top of the standings (same 25-6 record as Shanghai S.)

Second best performer of January was Blatche's team mate - Darius Adams (188-PG-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport). The product of the University of Indianapolis had another great month and finished it with the averages of 32.3ppg, 5.6rpg, 6.1apg while shooting 55.4% from the field. On Jan.15 Adams was close to triple-double as he had 49 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists.
