Haddadi
Experienced Iranian Hamed Haddadi (218-C-85) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sichuan BW and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 31-year old center had a double-double of 35 points and twenty rebounds, while his team edged out Fujian QB (#16, 9-22) 115-111. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Sichuan BW maintains the 9th position in Chinese CBA. Sichuan BW is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 17-14 record. Haddadi turned to be Sichuan BW's top player in his first season with the team. Haddadi has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 16.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 61.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American guard Jared Cunningham (193-G-91) of Jiangsu TX. Cunningham impressed basketball fans with 48 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Jiangsu TX lost that game 92-107 to the higher-ranked Guangsha L. (#4, 24-7). Jiangsu TX is still second from the bottom in the standings. 24 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Jiangsu TX managed to get this year. Cunningham is a newcomer at Jiangsu TX and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 33.3ppg (#5).

The third best performed player last round was American Eugene Jeter (180-PG-83) of TianJin S. (#11). Jeter got into 30-points club by scoring 40 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds and ten assists. He was a key player of TianJin S., leading his team to a 132-122 win against the higher-ranked Guangdong ST (#5, 23-8). The chances of TianJin S. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 16 games, recording just fifteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jeter could help TianJin S. to bring them higher in the standings. Jeter has a great season in China. After 31 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 7.4apg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Willie Warren (193-PG-89) of Zhejiang CB - 43 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Jianlian Yi (212-PF-87) of Guangdong ST - 38 points and 16 rebounds
6. Errick McCollum (185-PG-88) of North Control B. - 38 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Dominique Jones (193-G-88) of Qingdao E. - 28 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists
8. Yanyuhang Ding (200-F-93) of Shandong FB - 40 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Andray Blatche (211-F/C-86) of Xinjiang FT - 20 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists
10. MarShon Brooks (196-G/F-89) of Jiangsu D. - 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
