Top ranked Shanghai Sharks (21-4) recorded its fourth loss in Shenzhen on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by sixth ranked Leopards (17-8) 103-101. Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Shanghai Sharks' 46. 24 personal fouls committed by Shanghai Sharks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) fired 31 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. International center Muhao Li (218-92) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. French Guerschon Yabusele (201-95) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Leopards maintains sixth place with 17-8 record. Shanghai Sharks at the other side still keep top position with four games lost. They share it with Guangdong ST. Leopards are looking forward to face Fujian (#16) in Jinjiang in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shanghai Sharks will play at home against Jilin Tigers (#13) and are hoping to win this game.

Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Yanyuhang Ding (200-93) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Justin Dentmon contributed with 25 points and 8 assists for the winners. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: Three Eye Sports) answered with a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 20 assists for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. Shandong Bulls have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 15-10 record. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions at the other side keep the fifth position with seven games lost. Shandong Bulls will play against Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#15) in Hangzhou in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play on the road against TianJin Steel (#14) in Tianjin and hope to get back on the winning track.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Changchun, where 4th placed Liaoning Hunters (19-6) lost to thirteenth ranked Jilin Tigers (11-14) in a road game 109-113 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Liaoning Hunters. Jabari Brown stepped up and scored 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. At the losing side Lester Hudson responded with 41 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Liaoning Hunters' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jilin Tigers maintains thirteenth place with 11-14 record, which they share with TianJin S. Loser Liaoning Hunters keep the fourth position with six games lost. Jilin Tigers will meet league's leader Shanghai Sharks on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Liaoning Hunters will play against Shanxi Zhongyu and hope to secure a win.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Sichuan. Local Sichuan BW (13-12) outscored 20th ranked Guangzhou (4-21) 114-88. Hamed Haddadi nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for the winning side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to ninth place. Guangzhou lost their fifth game in a row. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Sichuan BW's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Guandong Tigers in Dongguan and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Guangzhou will play on the road against Xinjiang Flying Tige (#3) in Urumqi and hope to win that game.

Other games of round 25 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Jiangsu TX were defeated by Qingdao E. in a road game 117-106. Jiangsu D. was beaten by Xinjiang FT at home 98-109. Fujian QB lost to Guangdong ST on the opponent's court 113-123. Beijing D. managed to outperform Shanxi Zh. in a home game 95-85. TianJin S. rolled over North Control B. on the road 124-100. Zhejiang CB defeated Bayi R. on its own court 88-83.
The best stats of 25th round was 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks by Yuchen Zou of Bayi R..

American guard Lorenzo Brown (196-90, college: N.Carolina St.) nailed 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Willie Warren (193-89, college: Oklahoma) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds. International forward Yuchen Zou (203-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Lei Meng (193-95) added 21 points respectively for Bayi Rockets in the defeat. Five Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank and four Bayi Rockets players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank moved-up to fifteenth place. Bayi Rockets at the other side dropped to the eighteenth position with 20 games lost.
