The US Basketball Womens All-Stars went undefeated at the recent Four Nations tournament in China. The team which represented the United States in the international competition finished the event 9-0 with three wins against the China national B team, the national team of Hungary and the Australian Rising Opals. The three wins against China were all close, with one overtime time and the wins by one point, three points and four points.
Aulani Sinclair of Indiana was named the MVP of the entire event and led the team in three-point field goals made. She was named the MVP of the first tour stop, PingXiang as she averaged 12.3 points and three rebounds with a high game of 22 points against Hungary. Sinclair was also on the All-Tournament team at the second stop, Chengdu, where she averaged 13 points and 2.7 rebounds.
Sinclair was joined on the All-Tournament team by former California players Alexis Gray-Lawson and Talia Caldwell. Gray-Lawson came on strong later in the tour. She was named MVP of the third stop, Changshu, where she averaged 11,5 points and five rebounds, leading the USA past China for the third time as she made a key late steal and score in overtime in scoring 16 points. Gray-Lawson was also named to the All-Tournament team in PingXinang where she averaged 11 points and 3.3 rebounds and scored 17 points against Hungary while hitting four late points in the USAs one-point win over China. Caldwell was the most consistent center for the USA, averaging 8.9 points and 6.3 rebounds showing quick feet and jumping ability in helping the USA dominate the boards in their nine wins. She also was named to the All-Tournament team in PingXiang.

American Russ Smith (183-PG-91) had a great game in the last round for Luoyang and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com NBL Player of the Week award for round 24. The 26-year old playmaker got a double-double of 75 points and twelve assists, while his team edged out Fujian (#10, 10-14) 144-143. Luoyang is placed at 4th position in Chinese NBL. Tianjin Gold Lions (CBA) signed experienced 34-year old Ukrainian international point guard Eugene Jeter (180-79kg-83, college: Portland). It is actually his comeback to Gold Lions as he has played here before. Jeter is a dual citizen owning also American passport. He played last season at Besiktas in Turkish BSL league. There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in NBL. There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games, games ending by tiny margin and even winless team recording their first victory.
