The US Basketball Womens All-Stars went undefeated at the recent Four Nations tournament in China. The team which represented the United States in the international competition finished the event 9-0 with three wins against the China national B team, the national team of Hungary and the Australian Rising Opals. The three wins against China were all close, with one overtime time and the wins by one point, three points and four points.
Aulani Sinclair of Indiana was named the MVP of the entire event and led the team in three-point field goals made. She was named the MVP of the first tour stop, PingXiang as she averaged 12.3 points and three rebounds with a high game of 22 points against Hungary. Sinclair was also on the All-Tournament team at the second stop, Chengdu, where she averaged 13 points and 2.7 rebounds.
Sinclair was joined on the All-Tournament team by former California players Alexis Gray-Lawson and Talia Caldwell. Gray-Lawson came on strong later in the tour. She was named MVP of the third stop, Changshu, where she averaged 11,5 points and five rebounds, leading the USA past China for the third time as she made a key late steal and score in overtime in scoring 16 points. Gray-Lawson was also named to the All-Tournament team in PingXinang where she averaged 11 points and 3.3 rebounds and scored 17 points against Hungary while hitting four late points in the USAs one-point win over China. Caldwell was the most consistent center for the USA, averaging 8.9 points and 6.3 rebounds showing quick feet and jumping ability in helping the USA dominate the boards in their nine wins. She also was named to the All-Tournament team in PingXiang.

There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. Lorenzo Brown agreed terms with Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank - 2 days ago

Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (CBA) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old American guard Lorenzo Brown (196-86kg-90, college: North Carolina State). He played most recently at Detroit Pistons in the NBA. Brown also played that season for another team Drive in U.S. semi-pro league D-League where in 25 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 5.5rpg, 5.8apg and 2.1spg last season. Jones' 45-point game gives him Player of the Week award - 3 days ago

28-year old guard Dominique Jones (193-G-88) had a great game in the last round for Qingdao E. and receives a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 14. He had the game-high 45 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Qingdao E. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Fujian QB (#17, 3-11) 108-101.
