Boston Celtics signed 26-year old swingman Terrence Williams (198-100kg-87, college: Louisville) to a 10-day contract. He just played at Guangdong Southern Tigers in Chinese CBA league. In 29 games this season he had very impressive stats: 17.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.1apg and 1.2spg. Williams also played at the Pistons earlier that season. The most of last season he spent at the Kings. In 18 NBA games last year he recorded 8.8ppg, 4.1rpg and 3.1apg. The other team Williams played that season for were the Rockets. In 12 NBA games he recorded 4.5ppg and 2.3rpg. Part of previous (2010-11) season he spent at Brooklyn Nets (previous name New Jersey Nets). In 10 NBA games that year he recorded 6.7ppg, 3.6rpg and 3.1apg. Another team Williams played shortly was Springfield Armor. In three D-League games he recorded also great stats: 28.0ppg, 11.3rpg, 10.7apg and 1.3spg.
In 2009 he was drafted by New Jersey Nets in first round (11th overall). The former University of Louisville standoutis in his fourth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as his college team won Big East Tournament in 2009. Williams was also voted All-Big East 1st Team back in 2009.
He has played previously for Houston Rockets.
Williams could be described: He is a defensive stopper who is able to guard multiple positions on the floor which should help him at the next level ... His vision and ability to pass are standout for a wing player.

American Tony Mitchell (198-SF-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for Hebei X. and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com NBL Player of the Week award for round 26. The 27-year old had a double-double of 49 points and eleven rebounds, while his team beat Guizhou (#6, 15-11) 112-102. Hebei X. is placed at 4th position in Chinese NBL. The Regular Season in NBL just ended. Leader Shaanxi W. delivered the twenty fourth win on Wednesday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Guangxi (15-11) 118-112.
