Qingdao Double Star Eagles (CBA) landed 28-year old American center Chris Daniels (211-120kg-84, college: Limoges). He played recently at Santa Cruz Warriors (D-League) in the U.S.. In three games this season he averaged 7.0ppg, 5.7rpg and 2.3bpg. Daniels also played at Erie Bay Hawks in D-League earlier that season. The most of last season he spent at Anyang KGC in South Korean KBL. In 26 games last year he had very impressive stats: 18.1ppg, 11.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.7bpg. Daniels was called during the season by the Los Angeles Lakers. In 26 NBA games he had also great stats: 18.1ppg, 11.2rpg and 1.9apg.
Daniels won Korean KBL championship title for two years in a row (2011 and 2012).
He received Asia-Basket.com All-Korean KBL Honorable Mention award in 2009 and 2012.
The previous (10-11) season he played at KCC Egis in KBL. In 67 games that year he had also great stats: 15.2ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1bpg.
Last year (eleven years after he left the college) Daniels was drafted by Erie BayHawks (D-League) in first round (9th overall).
He attended Limoges CSP Elite until 2000 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Daniels has played also professionally in Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros), NBA (LA Lakers) and South Korea (ET Land Elephants and Goyang Orions).

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Flying Leopards. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of...   [read more]
