Xinjiang Flying Tigers (CBA) landed 31-year old American forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray State). Its actually his comeback to Xinjiang Flying Tige as he played here before. Singleton played most recently at Washington Wizards in the NBA. In 12 games last season he averaged 8.2ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.3apg. He also played at the Wizards in NBA that season. In 12 games last year he had 8.2ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.3apg.
The previous (10-11) season Singleton played at Xinjiang Flying Tige. In 43 CBA games he had very impressive stats: 21.2ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.3apg, 1.5spg and 1.4bpg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded All-Chinese CBA Forward of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team. Singletons team won Chinese CBA Regular Season for two years in a row (2011 and 2012).
He received All-Italian Lega2 Player of the Year award back in 2004.
Singleton is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Spain (Caja Laboral), Italy (Armani Milano and Fileni BPA Jesi), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and LA Clippers) and China (Guandong Tigers).
Singleton attended Murray State until 2003 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.

Guandong Tigers outrebounded Xinjiang Flying Tige 46-28 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Beijing D. - Liaoning FL 119-123 Liaoning fired past Beijing to surge ahead in the series. Flying Leopards made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. Flying Leopards outrebounded Beijing Ducks 50-38 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists.
