Guandong Southern Tigers (CBA) is close to sign 30-year old American guard Gilbert Arenas (192-98kg-82, college: Arizona). Arenas played last season at Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. In 23 NBA games last year he had 3.3ppg. He also spent pre-season at the Magic in NBA earlier that year. In 2001 Arenas was drafted by Golden State Warriors (NBA) in second round (31st overall).
He attended University of Arizona and it may be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
selected to All-NBA 2nd Team back.
Arenas has played previously professionally in other NBA teams (Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards).
