It is getting closer to the start of another CBA season in China. This year is shaping up to be a interesting year, as former Houston Rocket, and China hero, Tracy McGrady has signed to play with the Qingdao Eagles, along with former NBA player Al Thornton, who signed with Guangsha. It seems each year, more and more fringe and former NBA stars are making the trek over the water.

China's league has gone from a has been league to something of a destination for many players, coaches and agents looking to do business. As many as 7-8 former NBA players are in China each season now, and the league has some of the brightest talent in professional basketball. The start of the season begins Nov 24th, and likely will run through mid-Feb, with playoffs to follow.

Some storyline to follow besides TMAC/Qingdao , would be can Beijing find the magic to repeat or will Guangdong, with the return of their favorite son, Yi Jianlian capture success once again? How will perennial powerhouse Xinjiang do, now with Von Wafer, and superstar big man James Singleton, will Shanxi led by swingman Marcus Williams, who is one of the top players in the entire league, and stalwort big man, Charles Gaines, lead Shanxi to a CBA finals berth?

All these questions and much more will be answered starting Nov 24th!
