Miami Heat and LA Clippers played an exhibition clash in Beijing, China. The Heat claimed the first pre-season victory rolling past their opponents. LeBron James (6'8''-SF-84) posted 20 points to lead the winners.
The Heat erupted for 29 points in the first term to take an 11-point lead. The Heat maintained the lead throughout the second term. They established a 53:35 halftime advantage. The Clippers narrowed the deficit in the third term. They got within 16 points at the final intermission. The Clippers stayed competitive throughout the fourth frame but the Heat hung on to win the game. Ray Allen (6'5''-G-75, college: Connecticut) finished with 15 points, while Carney Rodney (6'7''-F-84, college: Memphis) and Norris Cole (6'2''-PG-88, college: Cleveland St.) posted 11 points apiece for the winners. Blake Griffin (6'10''-F-89, college: Oklahoma) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the Clippers. Jamal Crawford (6'5''-G-80, college: Michigan) chipped in 16 points in the loss.

Hunan Snow Wolves bolstered their roster for NBL season. They agreed on terms of contract with Justin Tubbs(190-G-87, college: E.Tenn.St.). The guard recently played in Lebanon. Slan Sports Management is pleased to announce that Daniel Mullings(188-G-91, college: N.Mexico St.) has signed with Jiang Huai Shan Dian of the Chinese National Basketball League (NBL). Mullings, a 6'2' guard, is coming off of his first professional season with Medi Bayreuth in the German Basketball League (BBL).
