Guangzhou FM ties the Finals at 1-1. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 39-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Guangzhou FM outrebounded Guangzhou L. 59-46 including 45 on the defensive glass. American forward Walter Sharpe (206-86, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 26 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard KaiFu Yao (196-83) chipped in 17 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Guangzhou FM players scored in double figures. Forward Jing Wang (197-78) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American center Brandon Crump (208-82, college: Tennessee) scored 6 points and 15 rebounds.

The USA Mens All-Stars held off a pesky and determined Latvian team 63-58. Mike Moore led the USA off the bench with 12 points while Devin Sweetney led the team with 14 points. Robert Crawford also helped off the bench with 8 points. Moore and Crawford sparked a 10-2 run at the end of the 3rd quarter to help put the USA up for good.
