Guangdong clinch 2012-2013 title! The team complete the sweep in the Finals against Shandong FB and added 94:74 win in Game 4. Guangdong won all four games of the finals with 4-0 record. Both teams scored 19 points in the first period and then Guangdong posted a 24-15 surge in the second frame. Guangdong answered with 29-12 in the last period but could not catch up with the opponents. Guandong Tigers made 19-of-24 free shots during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international Yi Jianlian (212-PF-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Diogu Ike (204-F/C-83, college: Arizona St.) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Jeter Pooh (180-PG-83, college: Portland) replied with 16 points (made all of his eight free throws) and Abbas Zaid (203-F-83) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Shandong Bulls. Five Guandong Tigers and four Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures.

Yi Jianlian (212-PF-87) scored 34 points leading the South team to the victory at the CBA All-Star Weekend in Guangzhou at the weekend. He was trumped the MVP after the game. It was an exciting clash with all necessary ingredients to become a first-class show. Douby Quincy (191-G-84, college: Rutgers) delivered 19 points 6 assists and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Wang ZhiZhi (215-C-77) nailed 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in his 13th All-Star Game. Abbas Zaid (203-F-83) answered with 30 points for the North selection. Marbury Stephon (188-G-77, college: Georgia Tech) netted 24 points and distributed 11 assists for the losing side. Wang Zhelin (215-PF-94) notched 23 points and 18 rebounds to pace South past North 84:77 in the Rookie Game. Xu JiaHan (190-G-93) answered with 16 points and 6 boards for North. The game was preceded by the traditional contests. Guo Ailun (192-SF-93) celebrated victory in the Skills Challenge. He overcame Liu XiaoYu (191-G-89) in the Final. Xi Relijiang bagged Three-Point Shootout Contest crown. He bettered Zhu YanXi (209-C-90) and Douby Quincy in the final stage. Finally Slam Dunk Contest saw Zhai Yi (200-F-94) clinching the title. He stole the show overcoming Tian Guisen and Gao Shang (198-F/G-94) in the Final Round.
