The CBL is just getting better and better, the 2015 Finals will go down to the wire as Extra Joss Fighters level things up in Game 2 to 1-1. Mekong Tigers coming from the back of their 97-84 win in Game 1 drew first blood and started like a train taking a 10-3 lead inside the opening 4 minutes of the First Quarter. The Fighters bounced back and ended the Quarter 22-16. Mekong Tigers closed the gap in the second Quarter with both sides displaying some great basketball to the admiration of the massive number of fans. The Tigers finished the better side reducing the deficit to 3 points at half time (41-38). The Fighters opened up the gap further in Quarter Three with Siruma and Jomar Combination seemingly unstoppable. The combo of Matt Van Pelt (178-PG-91, college: Spring Arbor, agency: JFP) and Jermaine Lattimore (203-F-89, college: Walla Walla) at the other end continued to inspire the Tigers to close the gap as it ended 23-17 ( 64-55) in Favour of Extra Joss Fighters. With 9 points advantage, The Fighter sorted to close out the game in quarter 4 and continue to take the game to the Tiger's den but the Tigers wouldn't let go and As Darath Pheng and Matt responded with three pointers of their own to Santos Jomar and Edmer Pansoy's 3 pointers. Fighters held on and finished the Game 84-79 to take the tie to Game 3 set for Saturday 19th September.
