They erupted for 28 points in the opening quarter taking a 6-point lead after ten minutes. Cambodia limited Myanmar to 12 points in the second term to establish a 43:34 halftime lead. But Myanmar changed the complexion of the encounter in the third term. They cut the deficit to 5 points with one quarter remaining. Myanmar surged ahead 80:78 with under four minutes remaining. But Cambodia crowned the game with six points in a row and stole their first win at the tournament. Mith Pek provided 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for Cambodia. Putratana Monh (180-G-81) added 12 points in the win. Chan Chan answered with 21 points for Myanmar. Win Cho tallied 20 points and 14 rebounds in the losing effort.

Vietnam recorded their first win at the SEA Games 2011. They held off Cambodia to improve at 1-2 record in Group A. Han Minh Trieu scored 19 points to pace the winners. Cambodia fell at 0-3 record after the loss.
Vietnam overwhelmed their opponents in the opening quarter. They went on a 21:10 run to take a comfortable lead after ten minutes. Cambodia however slowed their opponents down in the second term. They trailed by 10 points at the interval 28:38

Cambodia fell at 0-3 record after the loss. Vietnam overwhelmed their opponents in the opening quarter. They went on a 21:10 run to take a comfortable lead after ten minutes. Cambodia however slowed their opponents down in the second term. They trailed by 10 points at the interval 28:38. Vietnam speeded up things in the third term. They fired 20 points and entered the final frame up by as many as 17 points. Cambodia had no answer and had to surrender at the end. Vi Han Duong notched 14 points, while Ngoc Tu Le added 13 points in the victory. Oeun Sophoeun (180-F/G-85) responded with 25 points and 14 rebounds for Cambodia. Mith Pek nailed 20 points in defeat.
