Regular Season Round 6: Bambitious N. - Aomori W. 68-72

The biggest surprise of round 6 was guest Aomori W.'s (3-5) road victory over Bambitious N. (#6) 72-68 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was American power forward EJ Montgomery (208-1999, college: Kentucky) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import forward Alex Davis (206-1992, college: Fresno St.) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Aomori W. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Christian James (194-1996, college: Oklahoma) who recorded 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Portuguese Jeremiah Wilson (205-1988, college: Tarleton St.) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aomori W. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Yamagata. Bambitious N. at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Fukushima and Tokyo Z. Aomori W. is looking forward to face Tokyo Z (#7) at home in the next round. Bambitious N. will play against the league's second-placed Nagasaki and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
