Regular Season Round 3: Kembangan - Qian Xi Blue 35-40

There was no surprise when Kembangan (0-5) was defeated at home by Qian Xi Blue (2-1) 40-35 on Saturday. Qian Xi Blue held Kembangan to an opponent 17.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 21.7 percent accuracy of the winners. The best player for the winners was Pei-Sze Chia who scored 3 points and 15 rebounds. Amelia Siew chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Chu-Yin Chan who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Cunfang Chua added 4 points and 15 rebounds respectively. Kembangan's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Qian Xi Blue will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kembangan will play against Blazers (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
