Regular Season Round 2: Wonju DB - Suwon KT 81-71

There was an upset when Suwon KT lost on the road to Wonju DB 81-71 on Saturday. Wonju DB had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Lennard Freeman (203-1995, college: NC State) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Seung-Wook Choi (194-1993) supported him with 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Wonju DB players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds by Cameroonian center Landry Nnoko (208-1994, college: Clemson) did not help to save the game for Suwon KT. The former international center Yoongi Ha (203-1999) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Wonju DB will meet at home Seoul Knights in the next round. Suwon KT will play against LG Sakers in Changwon and hope to win that game.
