The game in Kokshetay was also quite interesting. Tomiris (3-1) played at the court of Okzhetpes (1-2). Tomiris defeated Okzhetpes 76-64 on Friday. Tomiris looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Ukrainian guard Elizaveta Mitina (172-1998) who led the winners and scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Valeriya Kapitonova (176-2001) accounted for 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Forward Ulyana Kudrevtseva (175-1999) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and power forward Nadezhda Yakovleva (183-2003) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Okzhetpes in the defeat. Four Okzhetpes players scored in double figures. Tomiris will meet at home Shymkent (#8) in the next round. Okzhetpes will play against Caspiy Aktau and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
