Regular Season Round 4: Shinagawa - Shanan Utd 70-90

Bottom-ranked Shinagawa (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-70 loss to fifteenth ranked Shanan Utd (2-4) in Shinagawa. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa's 28. They outrebounded Shinagawa 37-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Steven Green (196-1993, college: OKBU) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import forward Chris Olivier (202-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Shanan Utd players scored in double figures. Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-1990, college: NM State) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) added 20 points in the effort for Shinagawa. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanan Utd moved-up to eleventh place. Shinagawa at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
