Regular Season Round 3: Okayama - Tachikawa 76-71

Very expected game when Tachikawa (1-3) was defeated on the road by Okayama (4-0) 76-71 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Okayama forced 21 Tachikawa turnovers. The best player for the winners was American power forward DeVaughn Washington (203-1989, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Yusuke Mukai (194-1981) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Tristin Walley (201-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Jota Machii (182-1999) added 19 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Okayama will meet Veertien Mie (#5) in the next round. Tachikawa will play against Iwate (#3) and hope to win that game.
