No shocking result in a game in Dik El Mehdi where Champville defeated Atlas 92-76 on Monday. They outrebounded Atlas 51-35 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Champville looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Canadian-Palestinian forward Shane Osayande (200-1993, college: Saskatchewan) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and guard Georges Choueiry (184-1995) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Champville's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Pierre Fakhry responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and Refaat El Ayoubi scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Champville will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Atlas will play against Dynamo and hope to win that game.
