Regular Season Round 2: Shinshu BW - Alvark Tokyo 79-67

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Alvark Tokyo's road loss to Shinshu BW 67-79 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Shinshu BW especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was swingman Reo Maeda (191-1997) who scored 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Josh Hawkinson (208-1995, college: WSU) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. American guard Justin Cobbs (191-1991, college: California, agency: BeoBasket) produced 16 points and 4 assists and international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-1989, college: Siena) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Alvark Tokyo's coach Dainius Adomaitis let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shinshu BW will meet at home Gunma CT in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Alvark Tokyo will play against Chiba Jets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
