Regular Season Round 1: Shinshu BW - Alvark Tokyo 61-66

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Alvark Tokyo in Nagano. Visitors were defeated by Shinshu BW 79-67. It was a great shooting night for Shinshu BW especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Swingman Reo Maeda (191-1997) stepped up and scored 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and American forward Josh Hawkinson (208-1995, college: WSU) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Justin Cobbs (191-1991, college: California, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 16 points and 4 assists and international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-1989, college: Siena) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Alvark Tokyo's coach Dainius Adomaitis rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Shinshu BW will again play against Alvark Tokyo at home in the next round. Alvark Tokyo will have a break next round.
