Devil Rays players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. American point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-1994, college: PVAMU) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Jittaphon Towaroj (186-1991) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Johnson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Devil Rays' coach S. Premprapan used entire bench in such tough game. American point guard Avery Scharer (185-1986, college: Shoreline CC) responded with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 17 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and the former international Toby Sathitsumpan (182-2001) scored 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Devil Rays have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Devil Rays maintains second place with 12-2 record behind leader Hitech. Dunkin' Raptors lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost.
