Regular Season Round 6: Heat - Buffaloes 82-71

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Heat as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Heat defeated 4th ranked Buffaloes in Saigon 82-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Buffaloes. They outrebounded Buffaloes 46-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Madarious Gibbs (185-1993, college: Texas Southern) had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Alonzo Stafford (198-1993, college: CCC, agency: B.O.S.S.) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Shane Henry (203-1993, college: Virginia Tech) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-1991, college: Jackson St.) scored 11 points and 7 assists. Four Buffaloes players scored in double figures. Heat (6-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Buffaloes at the other side keep the fourth place with three games lost. Buffaloes will play next round against strong Dolphins trying to get back on the winning streak. Heat will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
