The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Devil Rays played at the court of SWU. Devil Rays smashed SWU 111-64. Devil Rays dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to SWU's 30. Devil Rays forced 24 SWU turnovers and outrebounded them 55-28 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by SWU's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Taishaun Johnson (183-1994, college: PVAMU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. International Moses Morgan (198-1992, college: CS Fullerton) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Worth to mention Johnson played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Five Devil Rays players scored in double figures. Devil Rays' coach S. Premprapan felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Noppachai Thongpool (190) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Pongsatorn Tabtim (187-1998) added 15 points in the effort for SWU. Devil Rays will play against Hitech in Bangkok in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SWU will play against Dunkin' Raptors and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
