Regular Season Round 9: TGE - Thunders 100-68

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked TGE (7-2) smashed at home 6th ranked Thunders (3-6) 100-68 on Wednesday. TGE dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Thunders' 44. They outrebounded Thunders 51-31 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. TGE looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jarron Crump (183-1992, college: Pacific Union) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. International center Anasawee Klaewnarong (199-1993) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five TGE players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Kittitep Lane Dasom who recorded 28 points and Chiedoziem Okafor added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for TGE. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Bangkok Tigers. Thunders lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with SWU.
