Regular Season Round 6: Hitech - T-REX 110-49

Bottom-ranked T-REX (0-6) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to third ranked Hitech (5-1) 110-49 on Wednesday evening. Hitech dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to T-REX's 28. Hitech forced 30 T-REX turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Nakorn Jaisanuk (188-1991) who scored 32 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Nattakarn Muangboon (180-1991) chipped in 22 points and 8 assists. Four Hitech players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Alex Smith (201-1988, college: BCU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds and forward Kulthawat Piyalangka added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Bangkok Tigers. Loser T-REX still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Shoot it Dragon. Hitech will meet SWU (#5) in the next round. T-REX will play against Shoot it Dragon (#9) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
