The game in Danang was also worth to mention about. Heat (2-1) played at the court of Dragons (0-3). Heat defeated Dragons 83-68. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was an exceptional evening for guard Madarious Gibbs (185-1993, college: Texas Southern) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Alonzo Stafford (198-1993, college: CCC, agency: B.O.S.S.) accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side. Five Heat players scored in double figures. Center Kenneth Simms (206-1986, college: Cumberland, agency: Interperformances) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Ed Horton (186-1985, college: Murray St.) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Dragons in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Heat will play against Catfish (#6) in Can Tho in the next round. Dragons will play again on the road against Heat in Saigon and hope to get finally their first victory.
