Regular Season Round 10: TNT Tropang - Terrafirma Dyip 114-86

PBA top team - TNT Tropang (7-2) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Terrafirma Dyip (0-6) in Makati 114-86. TNT Tropang looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Terrafirma Dyip's players. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American guard Michael Williams (188-1991, college: CS Fullerton) who helped to win the game recording 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward John Paul Erram (203-1989) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four TNT Tropang players scored in double figures. Naturalized American guard Joshua Munzon (191-1995, college: CS Los Angeles) replied with 25 points and 6 rebounds and Javier Gomez De Liano (195-1998) added 12 points in the effort for Terrafirma Dyip. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TNT Tropang have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-2 record. Terrafirma Dyip at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. TNT Tropang are looking forward to face league's second-placed SM Beermen in Manila in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Terrafirma Dyip will play at home against Ginebra Kings (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
