Kaohsiung Aquas claimed T1 League title. They overcame Taichung Suns in Game 3 to complete the sweep of the championship series. Suns were trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 26-21 charge of Aquas, which allowed them to win the game. They made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. 30 personal fouls committed by Suns helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-1989, college: MSUM) answered with 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and Iranian-British center Aaron Geramipoor (213-1992, college: Seton Hall) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Suns. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
