No shocking result in a game when second ranked Suns (18-9) beat bottom-ranked GhostHawks (6-22) 119-111 on Sunday. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Filipino-Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-1996, college: CBU) who scored that evening 44 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and American guard Anthony Tucker (193-1989, college: MSUM) supported him with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Even a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds by the former international power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) did not help to save the game for GhostHawks. Costa Rican-Belizean Charles Garcia (208-1988, college: Seattle) added 25 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Suns and five GhostHawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-9 record having four points less than leader Kaohsiung A. Loser GhostHawks stay dead last with 22 lost games. Suns will meet N.Taipei CTBC (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. GhostHawks will play against TB Herobears and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
