The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked SCYSS's (9-17) road loss to fifth ranked Caspiy Aktau (19-7) 60-79 on Monday. Caspiy Aktau forced 26 SCYSS turnovers and outrebounded them 47-27 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Alexandra Saitova (164-2000) who scored 15 points. Valeria Petrova chipped in 3 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Makpal Nusipova (182-1999) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Ayalm Tleubay (177-2001) added 7 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Caspiy Aktau have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Okzhetpes. Loser SCYSS dropped to the fourth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Nur-Sultan Tigers.
