Regular Season Round 54: Ibaraki R. - Yokohama BC 77-107

Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Yokohama BC (18-31) rolled over 10th ranked Ibaraki R. (13-32) in Mito 107-77 on Sunday. Yokohama BC shot 64.4 percent from the field. Yokohama BC outrebounded Ibaraki R. 35-19 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 58.1 percentage. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Ibaraki R.'s players. American forward Leyton Hammonds (203-1994, college: OK State, agency: BeoBasket) notched 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and Czech Patrik Auda (204-1989, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Yokohama BC's coach Taketo Aoki felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) did not help to save the game for Ibaraki R..
