The game in Beirut supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Champville (11-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Hoops (9-9). Champville smashed Hoops 85-59. They outrebounded Hoops 39-28 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Champville players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Elias Rustom (197-1987) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international forward Patrick Bou Abboud (199-1987) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Champville players scored in double figures. Hicham El Helou replied with 19 points and 5 steals and the former international swingman Khalil Aoun (195-1990) added 6 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Hoops. Hoops' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Champville have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 11-7 record.
