Regular Season Round 50: Yokohama BC - Niigata A. 86-76

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Niigata A. (5-39) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Yokohama BC (17-29) 86-76 on Wednesday. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Czech Patrik Auda (204-1989, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Reginald Buckner (206-1991, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-1989, college: NM State) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and American forward Jeff Ayres (206-1987, college: Arizona St.) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yokohama BC maintains eighth position with 17-29 record. Niigata A. lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 39 games lost. Yokohama BC will meet league's leader Alvark Tokyo on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Niigata A. will play against Nagoya DD (#3) and hope to secure a win.
