KBL top team - SK Knights (39-14) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Samsung Th. (9-44) in Seoul 92-73. SK Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Samsung Th.'s 34. They outrebounded Samsung Th. 43-20 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. SK Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import power forward Leon Williams (203-1986, college: Ohio) chipped in 7 points and 13 rebounds. Four SK Knights players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Hyun-Ho Lee (192-1980) who recorded 15 points and Byil Kang added 15 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. SK Knights maintains first place with 39-14 record. Samsung Th. lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 44 lost games.
