An exciting game was when Third ranked Yulon Luxgen faced their biggest opponent Taiwan Beer. Yulon Luxgen (12-11) defeated Taiwan Beer (18-6) 85-78. Strangely Taiwan Beer outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) scored 24 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-1991) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and Canadian power forward Keanau Post (210-1992, college: Missouri) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Yulon Luxgen and five Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. Taiwan Beer's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-11 record having seven points less than leader Bank of Taiwan. Loser Taiwan Beer still keeps top place with six games lost. They share the position with Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen will meet bottom-ranked Pauian (#5) in the next round. Taiwan Beer will play against the league's leader Bank of Taiwan (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
