Leader SK Knights delivered the 38th victory on Thursday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Goyang Orions (26-26) 92-77 in Daegu. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Goyang Orions. They outrebounded Goyang Orions 36-25 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. SK Knights shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Youngjun An (195-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. The former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) helped adding 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four SK Knights players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 16 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) scored 13 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. SK Knights maintains first place with 38-12 record. Loser Goyang Orions keep the fifth position with 26 games lost. SK Knights will meet at home league's second-placed KT Sonicboom in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Goyang Orions will play against the league's second-placed KT Sonicboom in Busan and hope to secure a win.
