Rather expected game in Changwon where 10th ranked Samsung Th. (9-42) was rolled over by seventh ranked LG Sakers (23-28) 91-72 on Thursday. LG Sakers made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds. Forward Hee-Jae Jeong (195-1989) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Weon-Seok Lee (203-2000) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-1989) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. LG Sakers maintains seventh place with 23-28 record. Samsung Th. lost their eleventh game in a row.
