Regular Season Round 43: DB Promy - KCC Egis 79-85
Date: March 30, 2022
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Wonju where ninth ranked KCC Egis (20-31) defeated 8th ranked DB Promy (22-31) 85-79 on Wednesday. KCC Egis looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Latavious Williams (203-1989, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). The former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-1989, college: Missouri) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four KCC Egis players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Lennard Freeman (203-1995, college: NC State) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and the former international guard Woong Heo (183-1993) scored 21 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KCC Egis maintains ninth place with 20-31 record. Loser DB Promy keeps the eighth position with 31 games lost. KCC Egis will meet higher ranked LG Sakers (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DB Promy will have a break next round.
