Regular Season Round 15: Lioneers - Steelers 107-96

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Lioneers (10-9) defeated bottom-ranked Steelers (5-15) 107-96 on Sunday. It was a great evening for Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 35 rebounds and 4 blocks. American Nick Faust (198-1993, college: LBSU) helped adding 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Lioneers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian forward Anthony Bennett (203-1993, college: UNLV) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 20 rebounds and American Manny Harris (197-1989, college: Michigan, agency: Network Sports International) scored 30 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lioneers maintains fourth place with 10-9 record. Newly promoted Steelers stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Lioneers will meet league's leader Fubon Braves in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Steelers will play against the league's leader Fubon Braves (#1) and hope to secure a win.
